There are times when you can feel physically and emotionally exhausted. Although there is a lot you can do to boost your energy, like eating a balanced diet, getting enough sleep, exercising, taking vitality supplements, and drinking plenty of water, sometimes it’s not enough.
These practices can help you charge up physically, but not so much emotionally or mentally. Yoga and meditation can help boost your mental energy and motivate you to kickstart your day. But sometimes, we just don’t have the energy or motivation for yoga or meditation.
And this is where essential oils come in. Essential oils can help with energy, concentration, and focus. But not just one type of essential oil will do the trick; you need a blend of energy-boosting essential oils. There are many energy oil blend recipes out there that you can use, and you can also create your own.
But if you don’t know where to start, check out our 30+ energy oil blend diffuser recipes to help you get started.

Making your own energy essential oil blend
Not all essential oils will boost your energy, so before you create your own recipe, first familiarize yourself with energizing essential oils. Some of these oils include Peppermint, Bergamot, Rosemary, Cedarwood, Spearmint, Frankincense, Fir, Orange, and Grapefruit.
You can combine one or two or three of these oils for your blend. There are more energy essential oils, so you have many options when buying the oils.
Bear in mind, though, that what might work for others might not work for you. You can use a recipe created by a friend or relative, but it might not work for you. Therefore, it doesn’t hurt to create your own unique blends and test each one to see which one works for you.
When creating your energy essential oil blend, use a total of 7 drops of your preferred essential oils and not more. Excessive amounts can cause headaches, nausea, and dizziness.
As for how many different types of essentials oils you can use for your blend, three is a good number. Most recipes use up to 4 different types, but if you are a novice, try out with two or three for starters.
